EM ceramics is a Japanese discovery, it comes in the form of a bead composed of clay to which effective Microorganisms (EM) have been added during firing. This firing allows the EM to settle in the clay and last.  These Microorganisms are activated by water, movement, and sunshine, and transmit vibrations, (resonances), this is not noticeable to us,  but is unpleasant for ticks and other small insects.
