How to look after your collar, bracelet or anklet.
EM COLLAR INFORMATION
Thank you for purchasing your EM collar.
To Ensure your collar is fully activated soak it in warm water then allow it to dry in full sun until dry.
For best results ensure that your dog wears the collar 24 hours a day in the first 4 weeks, it can take this long for the Effective Microorganisms to start working, although many customers say it is sooner. After this, the collar can be removed occasionally during the day, especially during rough play, as the beads can break. It is also recommended that the collar be worn continuously during tick season.
It is important to keep the beads clean. To do this, rinse the collar thoroughly every 2 or so weeks under warm water, scrubbing with a nail brush if necessary, (do NOT use soap or other chemicals.) Then leave to dry in the sun, (the sun helps to regenerate the microbes.) It is very important to keep the beads clean.
The collar can be worn when swimming, but not in chlorine-treated water.
If you are using any other product on your dog make sure that it does not come in contact with the beads.
The EM collar is not strong enough to be used as a collar for a lead, so please do not attach one.
There is no 100% guarantee with EM collars or any other tick product, you should always check your dog and yourself after a nature walk.
